October 17 - "Gotcha" Ceremony

"Gotcha"

This morning (Friday, October 17th), we headed over to the orphanage, to get our gal.  Afterwards, we went with 5 other families to the Justice Department to have our Giving and Receiving Ceremony (G&R).  It was less ceremonial and more business-like than we had expected - kind of like getting married at the courthouse.  But,  that didn't matter...the end result was that our family is now complete.

OK - we've finished watching your new photo albums, finished wiping our eyes, and we can't wait to meet Ha. We've been thinking about you every day, checking what time it is now in Vietnam, and wondering what you're doing. She looks very content, and everyone looks so happy!

This is wonderful to see you all in Vietnam. We are very happy. Hudson seems to be enjoying Ha.

I tried to post a comment this morning but it did not work. D. helped me when he returned from school. I am new to this.

We'll keep posted.

Love, Ma and Pa
